POLICY
Simmons College of Kentucky is open to admitting all students who desire academic and practical preparation for some phase of Christian service and ministry. Any student admitted to the College is entitled to all rights, privileges, programs and activities generally accorded to or made available to students at the college. Simmons College of Kentucky does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national or ethnic origin in the administration of its educational policies or other school-administrated programs.

PROCEDURES
Non-degree Programs:
The non-degree programs are designed for the student who either desires a shorter program of study or does not have a high school diploma or its equivalent, the General Education Development Certificate (GED). Any person wishing to enter one of the non-degree programs (Certificate of Diploma) must secure an application packet from the college. The applicant must specifically state which program they desire. Upon completion, the necessary forms should be forwarded to the college in care of the registrar. Applicants will be notified about the status of their request for admission as soon as possible.

Persons enrolled in a non-degree program may transfer to a degree program if at some time in the future they obtain a high-school diploma or its equivalent. Any courses taken by a student enrolled in a non-degree program are transferable if the student achieved at least a grade “C” or better in the course.
