Simmons College of Kentucky enjoys a rich history of excellence.  For 133 years, Simmons has provided quality, faith-based education to residents inLouisvilleand throughoutKentucky.   Whether you have a personal connection to Simmons and its history, aHistoricalBlackCollegeand University (HBCU) experience, or appreciate a faith-based learning opportunity, we can all appreciate the importance of education and the role it plays in providing a better quality of life.  AsKentucky’s oldest HBCU and the birthplace of higher education for African Americans in this state, Simmons stands ready to continue her legacy of empowerment and personal development through strong academic and professional programs.

How can you help us with this important mission?  We ask that you consider a gift of just $5 a week for a year – - -that would generate $260 and would help us provide:

• remedial course work for the adult student returning to college
• a semester of books and supplies for one student
• development and enrichment programs for our faculty
• HVAC upgrades within our facilities
• ongoing grounds maintenance to enhance our campus
