The Simmons College of Kentucky Band Program is dedicated to providing outstanding Musical Experiences and opportunities to its students while helping them grow into responsible mature adults who graduate and become productive citizens


Performances

Pegasus Parade 2016, University of Louisville Homecoming Parade 2016, 2017, African American Heritage Parade 2016, 2117, Henderson Kentucky Diversity parade. Cordon Kentucky Christmas parade, New Albany Indiana, we perform at all men and women’s Basketball games. We make guest appearances at other HBCU Football Games, Participate in Homecoming Parades and activities, perform at festivals, church community events and drumline classics.


The Simmons College of Kentucky Marching Band Started Fall Semester 2015 with 9 Members. Within 2 academic school years the band has grown to 50+ members strong. The musical staff has reached out to over 150 graduating seniors to join the Band. We are looking forward to a great freshman class in the fall.

What do we do to stay active?

Practice, Practice, Practice, and when we get tired ... we practice some more.

If you are applying for admission and want to participate in the band or dance program, you will be given the opportunity to upload an audition tape as well as upload your previous Band/Dance reference letter at the end of your application. Click the button to the left or the APPLY tab above.
